Sony SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speaker with Dolby Atmos announced

Sony has introduced their latest wearable speaker called the SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speaker. It comes with a Dolby Atmos, support for 360 Reality Audio and X-Balanced Speaker unit. Moreover, Sony also confirm to introduced the WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter that compliments the SRS-NS7 neckband speaker.

As mentioned earlier, the SRS-NS7 wireless neckband comes with a Dolby Atmos technology. With this, you can pair with Sony’s BRAVIA XR television models, in addition to support for Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound technology and 360 Reality Audio technology. Moreover, the speaker’s sound signature can also be individualize with the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app. Which can record an image of the user’s ear and analyze their hearing property for a better audio experience.

Furthermore, the speakers come with their X-Balanced Speaker Unit. Which features a crystal clear acoustics and powerful sound pressure. It has upward firing speakers that deliver crisp sound directly to the user without disturbing others, along with a passive radiator for clearer low frequency response.

Additionally, other features include Multipoint Connection, IPX4 splash-proof design, and a battery life that is rated at up to 12 hours of power and up to 5 hours at maximum volume. However, it also supports quick charging – a 10-minute quick charge provides up to 60 minutes of extra play time.

Complimenting the SRS-NS7, Sony unveiled the WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter that will enable Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound experience on BRAVIA XR TVs.

The SRS-NS7 is price at $299.99 (Approx. Rs. 22,430), while the WLA-NS7 has a price of $59.99 (Approx. Rs. 4,485), and both are available for pre-order at in the U.S.
