Reliance Jio increases prepaid tariff by 21%; The schemes now cost Rs. Starts from 91

Following the announcement of Airtel and Vodafone Idea in the last one week, Reliance Jio has also revised its tariff plan for prepaid users in India. However, Jio’s plans are still cheaper than Vi and Airtel. Base plans for JioPhone users now start at Rs. 91, an increase of 21.3%, and other schemes saw an increase of about 20%.

Moreover, Base plan starts from Rs. 155 and includes 300 SMS and 2GB of data per day for 28 days. Which is less compared to Rs. Airtel and Vodafone Idea 179. Other plans, including the data top-up plan, have seen tariff increases of up to 20%.

Reliance Jio

Furthermore, the company said the plans would give the best value in the industry. Jio also promised to provide the best-quality service at the lowest cost globally, and said that Jio customers will continue to be the biggest beneficiaries.

Last but not least, the new pre-paid plans will come into effect starting from December 1st 2021.
