Realme Buds Q2 Neo Price In India And Availability

The Buds Q2 Neo were launched in India last month. They are currently price at Rs 1,599. They are available in Black and Blue color options. Flipkart is the online sales partner.

Design, Fit, and Comfort

Realme earbuds are continue come with shaped like the earth. Making it very smooth and wobbly. It built with USB type-C port on the rear for charging. Moreover, realme buds Q2 Neo comes with two color option- Black and Blue with a kaleidoscopic pattern on the earpieces. By the way, it was built with plastic, but it doesn’t feel particularly breakable, thankfully.

Talking to design, the case is bit tight, it could not open with one hand. You need both hands involve to open the case smoothly. However, the edges of the lid and the case, when opened, are not as smooth as the external part of the body. In reality, it feels kind of edged. Aimlessly, the buds neo is Sporting an ergonomic design and weighing as light as a piece of paper, these earphones snugly fit in your ears for all-day comfort. Further, taking them out is also very easy. Looking the case, realme does offer sufficient space between the two buds.

Further, the buds include with Bluetooth 5.0 version. Actually, you don’t need it with the Android mobile. Thanks to Google Fast Pair, your Android phone will automatically detect the Buds Q2 the moment you open the box. However, with the features like that we give some credit to the company.

I like the design of the Buds themselves. They are curvy where they sit on your ear. However, the outer surface is not flat like the previous version, it design like upper surface of diamond. And, Realme adds a glossy laminated sheet on the flat outer portion that reflects different colors at different angles. I found these buds extremely comfortable to wear for long listening sessions as well. Comfort will really not be a concern, in my opinion.

Controls and App

It offers ample surface area for your taps, double taps, and triple taps. Anyway, controlling the Buds Q2 Neo is super, duper easy and comfortable. And, with Realme’s wonderful Realme Link app, you can tune the controls to your liking. For example, Double-tapping these earphones will play music, pause, answer, and end calls. Long-pressing on both sides lets you enter and exit game mode. Also, long-pressing on one side allows you to reject a phone call and when you triple-tap, these earphones will play the next song on the list.

Moreover, these earphones’ IPX4 rating makes them water-resistant. So, these earphones can function well even with splashes of water or sweat, making them ideal for an intense workout.

Further, the Buds Q2 Neo Designed with a latency as low as 88 ms, these earphones help ensure perfect sync between audio and video while gaming. As a result, you can enjoy hours of seamless, lag-free gaming.

Sound Signature and Noise Cancelling

The standout feature of the Buds Q2 Neo is in call noise cancelling. So, how is it? Well, it is fairly okay. It comes with 25db of ambient noise. So yeah, I’d say, for the price, it is very good. As for the Transparency mode, I don’t care much about it, but it’s not too bad either.

The earbuds Featuring a 10 mm driver with Bass Boost+ and a PEEk+TPU polymer diaphragm help deliver thumping beats for an impactful music experience. Additionally, compare with the previous one these comes with the good sound quality. The mids and highs are crisp and clear.

Further, the music gets really loud here and even for the person who has a habit of listening with full volume on, these might make you bring down the volume a bit. There is no sound issue with these buds. Overall, for the price of these sound good but lack bass which most of the people in India prefer.

Moreover, ENC or Environmental Noise Cancellation algorithm helps block ambient noise while you attend calls, allowing you to have clear and interruption-free conversations.

It comes with a SBC and AAC audio codec, which offer better sound quality than other who does not support them.

However, I am pretty amaze with the Mic quality onboard. The Buds Neo come with one microphone on each bud and they can be use in mono or stereo modes. The call quality was excellent in my testing. I was on call for about 35 minutes throughout the day and none of the person on another end take up the issue with my voice.

Moreover, I have used the earphones in outdoors condition such as the bike or which running cycle. On both timed, the results were very good. However, you will have to talk a bit louder than usual if you are running. Overall, the Relame Buds Neo took me by surprise in this segment which is not the case with most of the other TWS in this segment.

Battery Life

I tested the Buds Q2 Neo’s battery and come with the 480 mAh battery capacity and 20 hours of play time. I really appreciate how they undersell and over deliver when it comes to audio products. It is a far cry from what many brands do with their marketing. Oversell even the tiniest of features.

By the way, the earbuds alone offer up to 5 hours of playback while the company claims that 10 minutes of charging can have the earbuds run for about 2 hours.

The Realme Buds Neo is done all the work we could not imagine. Moreover, these buds have a very enjoyable U-shaped sound signature that should cater to most people’s listening habits. Seriously, unless you are an listener – in which case, I’d suggest looking at wired or neckband options instead – these earbuds won’t disappoint at all.

Last but not least, to be honest, Just the environmental noise cancellation feature alone makes it a more attractive option. Not to mention, I preferred the sound signature on the Buds Q2  Neo over other.  So, I hope that makes it easier for you to make a choice.

Let me know your thoughts on the Buds Q2 Neo.
