Oppo A55s renders leaks online; Hall-punch display, dual rear camera shows

The launch of the Oppo A55s has not yet been officially confirmed by the Chinese smartphone maker. But before that, some renders of the smartphone have been leaked online. Which is giving a glimpse of the potential design and specifications of the handset. The renders of the Oppo A55s feature a hole-punch design for the selfie camera and suggest two color options. Oppo’s new A-Series smartphone has a dual camera unit on the back. The Oppo A55s is likely to debut as a budget offer and may lack a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication.

In a report, 91Mobiles shared renders of the Oppo A55s, highlighting its slim form factor. As mention, the next Oppo phone is seen with a hole-punch design to hold the selfie shooter. The top bezel has a microphone and a power button on the right spine. The render shows the volume rockers placed on the left spine. For optics, the Oppo A55s is found to have a rectangular rear camera module that includes a dual sensor with LED flash. The handset is said to come in black and green colors.

The Oppo A55s has recently appeared on multiple certification websites, including Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG, indicating some of its key features. It was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site with the model number CPH2309. And the list says that the Oppo A-Series smartphone can run on Android 11. The Oppo A55s is listed to feature an octa-core Qualcomm chipset with 4GB of RAM. The handset is found on the Bluetooth SIG site with two model numbers – A102OP and CPH2309. According to the listing, the smartphone will come with Bluetooth v5.1. The Bluetooth SIG listing also features support for four 5G bands (n3 / 28/77/78). In addition, the next handset is said to come with a 4,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support.
