MediaTek unveiled its flagship Dimension 9000 4nm SoC earlier this month. Now the specifications of MediaTek Dimensity 7000 5nm SoC have surfaced in China, thanks to Liquor Digital Chat Station. This shows that it will use 4x Cortex A78 CPUs at 2.75GHz and 4x Cortex A55 CPUs at 2.0GHz.
This overclocked dimension looks like 1100 Soc with 4x Cortex-A78 @ 2.6GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHz. Dimensions 1200 uses 1x Cortex-A78 @ 3GHz, 3x Cortex-A78 @ 2.6GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHz.
Talking about the processers, Dimension 7000 is use the latest Mali-G510 MC6 GPU compared to Mali-G77 MC9 GPU in Dimension 1200. According to ARM, the Mali-G510 will provide 100% development in GPU performance and 22% development in energy savings. Compared to Mali-G57 used in Dimensity 810.
This indicates that unlike the Dimension 9000, the Dimension 7000 will be a mid-range processor, so it could power many mid-range Redmi, Realmy and other phones coming next year.
