A few months ago, Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo said that the 2022 iPhone Pro model will have a hole-punch display. It will have a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to a new report. The iPhone 13 Pro series uses an LTPO display with a variable refresh rate provided by Samsung. LG Display could also supply screens for the iPhone 14 Pro series in 2022 if Apple approves the display, report says
Furthermore, it adds that BOE will continue to supply Apple next year with only LTPS TFT OLED panels for the iPhone 14 Mini. And iPhone 14 that have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display, respectively. BOE is expect to start supplying LTPO TFT OLED panel for iPhone 15 series in 2023.
Earlier rumors said that the iPhone 14 Pro model will be upgrad to a 48MP wide camera sensor instead of the 12MP sensor in the iPhone 13 Pro.
Apple is expect to introduce the 3rd generation iPhone SE in 2022 with a similar 4.7-inch design. But with an upgraded processor and 5G support. Later in 2023, Apple is expect to come under the TouchID display for the first time.
